Course Objective

This programme aims to help the participants develop skills in EQ for the right style of leadership as well as to propel them to greater heights in all areas of their life, moulding them into more balanced and positive individuals. This programme shall focus on the concept of “The Art of EQ for Leadership” in personal leadership that is so popular nowadays among individuals who seek to perform at their very best.

At the end of programme, participants would be able to:

Course Content

Day 1

Module 1 : Self Awareness – In this session, participants will be taught on the 4 branches of EQ and how it has to be applied for creating a self-awareness in each individual

Module 2 : Understand your Emotions – This session will delve the importance of understanding different levels of emotions in oneself before assessing emotions of others. Participants will be taught of identifying key emotional signs.

Module 3 : Develop your EQ Skills – Participants will be assessed in this session on their level ofEQ skills and how based on the scoring they can further develop and harness their respectively EQ Skills

Module 4 : Apply your Emotional Skills – This session will look at how one can apply different emotional skill strategies in dealing with various conflicting situation both at work and at the personal front

Day 2

Module 5 : Managing Stress & Negative Emotions – In this session, participants will be taught on how to deal with stress and negative emotions and how these factors can be converted from negative to positive attributes

Module 6 : The EQ Leadership at Work – This session will look at the key EQ strategies that has to be developed by leaders to ensure that there is a balance between IQ and EQ traits at workplace

Module 7 : Manage People and Conflicts- Participants will look at case studies in this session using the 6 human relationship paradigms in managing conflicts

Module 8 : Committing to EQ Excellence – This session will look at rolling out plan at the workplace incorporating key traits in the quest for EQ Excellence


Certificate will be awarded to participants who successfully complete the course

» Course registration shall be applied at least 3 days in advance. Registration is based on a first-come-first-served basis. To confirm the registration, payment of the course fees must be made before the commencement date. Avanta Global Pte Ltd (Avanta) reserves the right to decline a trainee from attending the class at its sole discretion.
» Certificate/card shall be issued within 1 month from the course completion date. For WDA courses, SOA shall be ready within 3 months from the assessment completion date as per WDA’s T&Cs. No certificate/card will be issued unless full payment is received by Avanta before the course ends. An email notification will be sent once the certificate/card is ready for collection. Uncollected certificate/card within 3 months from the date of email notification will be destroyed. An administrative charge apply to re-printing of replacement certificate/card at $20/-. (Police report is required for lost certificate/card case.)
» Trainee is reminded to attend class punctually. Full course fees will still be imposed if the trainee does not attend the class without prior notice.
» If trainee is found cheating, trainee will be barred from the examination/assessment. Avanta reserves the right to take necessary actions.
» Notice of replacement or withdrawal must be made in writing to Avanta subjected to the following:
All requests are subjected to the discretion and approval of Avanta.
» Reschedule or change of course is allowed once only and is subjected to the availability of the course. An *administrative charge is applicable if the request is made 2 working days or less before the course commencement date.
» Avanta reserves the rights to cancel the course or change the course dates. Refund of full course fees is applicable if the class is cancelled by Avanta.
*Administrative charge: 10% of the course fees or S$30/- (whichever is higher)
