Course Objectives

  • Follow safe work practices and risk control procedures.
  • Participate in workplace safety and health management activities.
  • Follow workplace emergency response procedures.

Course Outline

  • Practise personal hygiene in the workplace in accordance with organisational procedures.
  • Use and maintain personal protective equipment required for the work in accordance with organisational procedures.
  • Use and maintain workplace equipment and safety devices in accordance with organisational procedures or the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Follow workplace safety signs and instructions.
  • Follow workplace risk control measures in accordance with organisational procedures.
  • Report workplace safety and health issues to the appropriate person in accordance with organisational procedures and the Workplace Safety and Health Act.

This course is suitable for front-line workers, supervisors, professionals without supervisory responsibilities, and self-employed individuals who interact extensively with others in their daily work, provide customer service, and maintain workplace relationships.
