Course Objective
On completion of this unit, the learner will have the knowledge and be equipped with the application skills in composing technical report and be able to apply them at the workplace. This includes:
- Conduct a risk assessment and develop and prepare a plan of work for asbestos removal in accordance with legal requirements and acceptable sound and safe practices
- Design and supervise the construction of enclosures for asbestos removal work
- Supervise on the procedures of asbestos removal in accordance with legal requirements and acceptable sound and safe practices
- Educate asbestos removal workers on the safe removal of asbestos in accordance with legal requirements and acceptable sound and safe practices
