Continuation of Certification

Maintenance of the RSO certification requires 16 continuing education units every two years and a nominal fee.


Examination Requirement

Registered Safety Officer® certification examination consist of 100 multiple-choice questions with required passing score of 80%.

Prior Knowledge

OSHA 30-hour (Construction or General Industry) or NEBOSH International General Certificate or Completion of a Safety Officer approved program.
