Certification: Statement of Attainment (SOA) by Workforce Development Agency (WDA)

Course Medium: English

COURSE MODULES: 2 days per Module

1. WSQ Apply 5S Techniques (Module 1)

SEIRI – Clear unnecessary items from work area
SEITON – Organize work area in orderly manner
SEISO – Clean work area
SEIKETSU – Maintain work area cleanliness
SHITSUKE – Maintain self-discipline in the work area

2. WSQ Apply Quality System (Module 2)

Plan daily work to meet quality system requirements
Carry out daily work to meet quality system requirements
Maintain work quality
Improve work quality

3. WSQ Apply Teamwork in the Workplace (Module 3)

Participate in team establishment
Participate in developing a team culture
Communicating with team members
Assist improvement of team performance

4. WSQ Apply WSH Policy (Module 4)

Identify responsibilities under WSH and Environmental Acts
Identify hazards and assess risks
Comply with WSH at workplace
Maintain risk control measure

Target Industries
Metal working, Manufacturing, Marine, Construction, Process, Oil and Gas, Plastic and Wafer Fabrication industries.

Statement Of Achievement (SOA)
Candidates can apply for individual modules of this course. An SOA will be given when they successfully complete a module. When a candidate finishes all four modules, he/she will be awarded the “Certified Operations Specialist” certificate.

CET Qualification Award (CQA)
Singaporeans who successfully complete and are awarded a WSQ certificate for the first time will be eligible for a CQA of S$200.
