Course Objective

The “Perform Rigger and Signalman Tasks” course (Rigger and Signalman Course) is aimed at providing individuals with the knowledge and skills to give correct and clear signals to guide the crane operator in the maneuver of a load safely to its destination.The “Perform Rigger and Signalman Tasks” Course is suitable for aspiring and experienced individuals assigned as Rigger and Signalman in the workplace.

17.5 Hours (Including 1.5 Hours Assessment)

Day 1 – 09:00 – 19:00
(Session 1 – 9:00 to 13:00 & Session 2 – 14:00 to 19:00)

Day 2 – 09:00 – 18:30
(Session 1 – 9:00 to 13:00, Session 2 – 14:00 to 17:00 & Session 3 – 17:00 to 18:30)

Course Fee

S$200 + GST, per participant
SkillsFuture funding available up to 70% and SFC Eligible, subjected to SkillsFuture T&C.

Learners must be above 18 years of age and are assumed to:

  • Have a basic knowledge of the relevant sector of work
  • Be able to listen and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills (ES) level 2
  • Be able to read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to ES level 2
  • Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ES level 2; and
  • Be medically fit
