Course Objective

  • Enable sustainability practitioners to engage stakeholders effectively in a systematic manner which fulfils internationally recognized stakeholder engagement standards.
  • Enable sustainability practitioners to develop, validate and communicate their competence in a systematic manner.

Course Content

  • Module A — Stakeholder Engagement Practitioner Certificate: Practitioner Certificate, a certificate course, and entry-point to the AA1000 training series which covers the AA1000AP (2018) and AA1000SES (2015).

Mode of Assessment

  • Short Answer Questions, True/False Questions, and Single Choice Questions

Pass Criteria

  • Successful completion of the licensed AA1000SES training programme automatically meets the requirement for the Stakeholder Engagement Practitioner Certificate level.

Target Audience

  • Professionals seeking formal qualification in sustainability assurance.
  • Individuals or consultants involved in sustainability reporting, assurance, stakeholder engagement, or ESG compliance.
  • The eligibility criteria for attending AA1000 training in the second half of 2025 will become increasingly stringent, such as at least a university degree or 8 years of work experience.
