- Controlling traffic
- Basic signaling
- Signs and devices
- Identifying site isolation and traffic control responsibilities and authorities
- Identifying quality requirements
- Worksite communication system components, applications and limitations
- Procedures and safety requirements of communication equipment and systems
- Common faults in communication equipment/systems
- Emergency communication procedures
- Record maintenance

Workers or any site personnel involved in road works, traffic control working on/ near/ adjacent to the road or construction site access.
